Presented in partnership with Medway Marches, Bellforge’s annual Juneteenth Festival honors the history and significance of Juneteenth while championing Black culture, creativity, and excellence.

The gathering invites the community to come together for an afternoon of live music, dance, spoken word, reflection, and shared celebration across the Bellforge grounds, featuring performances and appearances from DJ Alcide, The Akwaaba Ensemble, breakdancer Teflon, spoken word artists, and a special reading from Frederick Douglass.

Guests can also enjoy incredible food and drink offerings throughout the event, including Caribbean flavors from The Hut Island Vybes and other local vendors.

About Medway Marches
Medway Marches is a grassroots nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a more inclusive community for people of color through education, dialogue, and collective action. The organization began in June 2020, when nearly 1,000 Medway residents gathered for a peaceful march through the town following the murder of George Floyd. What began as a moment of solidarity and community reflection grew into an ongoing effort to foster antiracism, raise awareness, and build a more inclusive future.
