Getting Here

Bellforge is located equidistant between Providence, Boston, and Worcester, on the grounds of the former Medfield State Hospital, just off Route 27 on Hospital Road. Different addresses work in different GPS systems, so for the easiest access please use the following:

If using Google Maps or Waze:
Search “Bellforge Arts Center” in your GPS.
You will turn in to the hospital grounds when you see the school buses. Drive up the hill, where you will find several available parking lots on your left. Bellforge is on the right (walk between the brick buildings) with events located outside on the grounds of the former Chapel.

Use 45 Hospital Road, Medfield in your GPS

Or, for standard directions:
Take Rt. 27 to Hospital Road. Make a left on Hospital Road, then a left on Service Drive. You will turn in to the hospital grounds when you see the school buses. Drive up the hill, where you will find several available parking lots on your left. Head towards the Chapel Green after you’ve parked…that’s where we’re holding this season’s outdoor festivals, concerts and events. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair with you, settle back, and enjoy! Many of our events have food trucks on site, which we hope you will support. Some events will have alcohol available for purchase with photo ID. Please be aware that no outside alcohol is permitted at Bellforge, and you must stay within the fenced areas with any over-21 beverages.

Accessible Parking Instructions:

From Hospital Road:

Drive straight into the campus.
Take your first right (follow the accessible parking signs).
Take your first left.
Drive cautiously along the venue road. This is typically a pedestrian walkway, so be aware of foot traffic.
Look for signage indicating accessible parking.
Park in the designated accessible spaces.

Important Notes:

A handicap parking placard is not required to park in these spaces.
Accessible parking is open to anyone who requires it.
If you need assistance, please ask a staff member for help.
Please drive cautiously as cars are not typically permitted in this area.

While most of our events are free, registration is encouraged to receive event updates and information, such as changes due to inclement weather or performance line ups.
