Do Good Day

with Bellforge’s Young Families Advisory Council.

A community collection day bringing together local causes, practical ways to support neighbors and care for the environment, and a shared afternoon of generosity — all in one place.

Sometimes caring for our community begins by simply taking a second look at what we already have. That bag of clothes by the door. The stack of books we’ve been meaning to donate. The old pumpkin ready for compost. Do Good Day makes it easy to donate, recycle, and compost responsibly in one place.

Throughout the afternoon, Do Good Day will feature a Youth Vendor Fair showcasing young makers and entrepreneurs, plus a hands-on card-making activity. Together with local partners, we’ll share these handmade creations and messages of kindness with community members who could use a little extra care and connection.

There’s something encouraging about seeing so many people arrive with something to offer. Do Good Day brings those individual acts together, reminding us that caring for our neighbors and the places we share often feels more impactful and fun when alongside one another.

Donation List

Clothing & Accessories

  • Coats (size preferences: adult XL-XXXL)
  • Gloves, mittens, and hats
  • Youth and adult gently used or like-new clothing, bags, and purses. Items must be clean and in good condition.
    • Please fold items and sort by size and category when possible.
  • New underwear (with tags or in original packaging)
  • New and gently used bras
  • Dancewear: clean tights, leotards, skirts, recital costumes, and dance shoes in good condition

Comfort & Seasonal Items

  • Stuffed animals (new or gently used and cleaned)
  • Pumpkins and mums to be composted. Please note: pumpkins cannot have wax or paint on them.

Personal Care Items
