This event is free. Registration helps us prepare the space. Add as many tickets as you need for your group.

Summer Sounds is Bellforge’s signature summer music series, taking place on select evenings throughout the season.

Pack a picnic, bring a blanket or lawn chair, and settle in for a relaxed evening of live music on the Bellforge lawn, set against the backdrop of our historic campus and surrounded by nature.

Whether you’re meeting friends after work, bringing the family, or simply looking for a reason to spend a summer evening outdoors, Summer Sounds offers a welcoming space to gather, unwind, and enjoy great music together.

A full bar featuring local craft beer, along with non-alcoholic beverages and light snacks, will be available for purchase on site.

Summer Sounds: July will feature: Soft Touch

The Soft Touch Band is a classic 18-piece Big Band with full horn and rhythm sections and two outstanding vocalists, Caroline Griep and Rob Schneider, a longtime Medfield resident. Specializing in swing-era music from the ’40s to the ’60s, plus Rat Pack and Broadway hits and classic rock favorites, the all-volunteer group is comprised of retired professional musicians and serious amateurs.

Soft Touch concerts are a family affair, enchanting young and old with bold brassy tunes that get everyone clapping and out of their lawn chairs dancing.

Since its founding in 1980, all engagement fees go to college scholarships to local high school seniors who have excelled in music, awarding almost $150,000 to talented local students.
