CultureFest returns to the Bellforge grounds for our annual celebration of the many cultures that make our community vibrant. Presented in partnership with community partners Medfield Together, Be Inclusive, OUT MetroWest and Tattva Wellness, this free event brings together music, dance, art, and cultural traditions from around the world.
Performances throughout the morning include traditional and contemporary songs from the Nettukkusqk Singers, an intertribal group of Indigenous women, Caribbean reggae from Dis-N-Dat Band, and a traditional Chinese lion dance from Gund Kwok’s Lion & Dragon Dance Troupe.
Beyond the stage, meet local artists and community organizations to take part in activities for all ages. Kids can stop by the Medfield Together booth for a hands-on craft or create colorful rangoli designs with Tattva Wellness, inspired by the traditional Indian art form. Meghna Ajmera, the artist behind Henna by Meghna, will be offering on-site henna, while local Medfield High School students will join us with hair braiding, hair tinsel, and more.
Explore a mix of local makers and vendors, with handmade candles from Lumiere Rene, 3D-printed fidget toys and spinners from Terrarium Makers, and more. Local Medfield beekeeper Nancy Tella and holistic wellness practitioners Sonas Holistic Health and Healing with Hart will also be on site.
Make a morning of it. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, pack a picnic, and settle in on the Bellforge grounds between performances and activities.
Come for a performance, try something new, meet a neighbor, or spend the whole morning exploring.
All are welcome.
Registration is encouraged to keep you up-to-date on the offerings of the day.
