Bellforge Arts Center proudly presents: The Rat Reunion: Celebrating The 50th Anniversary of The Rathskeller. Known as "The Rat," this iconic punk rock club in Kenmore Square, Boston, was the epicenter of Boston’s punk rock scene. It hosted local legends like DMZ, The Atlantics, and The Neighborhoods, while also attracting major bands like The Police, The Ramones, and Talking Heads.
Join us for an unforgettable event featuring live performances by Nervous Eaters, The Dogmatics, and Tree. Explore "The History of the Rat" exhibit from the David Bieber Archives and hear legendary tales from The Rat, shared by our host, Oedipus (WBCN). Enjoy food and beverages available for purchase, with the added convenience of free parking.

ParkingParking is free and opens at 2:30pm. Accessible parking is also available—please follow the signs for designated parking areas when you arrive on the grounds.
Venue DetailsThis event will be held outdoors on grass. Seating is not provided, but you are welcome to bring small folding chairs or picnic blankets for your comfort.
MerchandiseQRST's will be offering officially licensed Rat merchandise at the event, including Rat T-shirts, hats, hoodies, coffee mugs, "Live at the Rat" CDs, and more. You'll also find officially licensed merch from The Neighborhoods, O+, Scruffy The Cat, Zulus, as well as shirts featuring Mitch and Mr. Butch.

Check-InDoors open at 3pm. Please have your confirmation email ready (a digital copy is acceptable). While tickets will be available at the door, we recommend purchasing them in advance to save time and money. Children under 12 are admitted free with a paying adult.
Food & BeverageOutside food, beverages, and coolers are not allowed. Food from Ribpublic BBQ and Melt In Your Mouth Bakery, as well as drinks, will be available for purchase at the event. You must be 21+ to purchase alcohol. Wristbands will be provided at check-in for those 21 and over, and must remain on for the duration of the event.
