Balance in Nature: Voice Colors Yoga offers a relaxing midweek practice designed to support autistic students and those with related special needs. Using Voices Color Yoga techniques and visual communication supports, this adaptive class helps participants build strength, flexibility, motor planning, self-awareness, and self-regulation in an inclusive environment where all abilities and experience levels are welcome.
The yoga class is led by Michelle Gaudet, a licensed behavior analyst and 200-hour certified yoga instructor with specialized training in Voices Color Yoga for Autism. For more than 30 years, she has worked with children and families across a range of educational, behavioral, and social-emotional settings, including roles as a teacher, school counselor, executive functioning tutor, and parent advocate.
Additional details:
- The session is open to all ages (children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult).
- Please remember to bring: a yoga mat, water, and comfortable clothing suitable for movement and the weather.
- Meeting point will be at the back of the campus, overlooking the Charles River.
