Artists’ work for sale at the Medfield Public Library, Middlesex Savings Bank, First Parish UU Church (New Site), United Church of Christ (UCC), and Zullo Gallery.

Holiday crafting (kids ages 3+) ideal for gift giving with cocoa at First Baptist Church.

4 – 6:30 PM
Children’s crafts and holiday-themed scavenger hunting in the Children’s Room at Medfield Library.

4 – 7:30 PM
Have a podcast experience with Medfield TV’s Up to Speed podcast located in the Medfield Library for the evening. Come be a guest and be featured in future episodes. Medfield TV will also be recording the event. When you’re strolling by, stop and say hello!

Festive fun at UCC:
The Lobby (of the UCC): Miss Amazing, UCC Youth Group, and Rahim Gray with pour art (for purchase).

The Great Room (2nd Floor of the UCC): Bellforge Arts Center’s Winter Craft Corner. A festive and family-friendly winter workshop with ornament and photo decorating, temporary tattoos and face painting, a wish tree, photobooth fun, and holiday music.

The Sanctuary (of the UCC): A Charlie Brown Christmas will play on repeat throughout the evening.

Classroom (of the UCC): Purposeful Connections will be present with their therapy dog (Grizz), for kids and teens to come and read a book to Grizz. Parents are asked to stay with their child. Feel free to wear your pajamas and bring your favorite book!

Outdoor movie screening on UU front lawn (against the U-House) with seating outside. Additional offerings of hot chocolate and crafting.

4th – 6th grade MAPsters selling homemade crafts in the Periodical Room of Medfield Library. Additional take-home seasonal crafts and light up fun for the tree lighting.

Holiday crafting hosted by Medfield Together in the Pottery Room of Park Street Books.

In-store sampling of d’Marie drink mixes at Be Charmed. Receive a free Scout Shopper Tote with any $50+ purchase, and enjoy complimentary decorated cookies while shopping.

Lantern & Lights Parade with Bellforge Arts Center. Spread the festive glow throughout downtown Medfield with homemade lanterns and glowsticks (provided by Bellforge). The parade begins in the Bank of America parking lot and ends at Town Hall.

S’mores and fire pit (while supplies last) with Parks and Recreation on Town Hall front lawn.

Vote for the funniest, most creative, and most colorful house in Mrs. Claus’s Gingerbread House Contest in the Medfield Library.

Trills N’ Chills a cappella performance roaming indoor sites.

5 – 7 PM
Brighter Ignited is a mobile illuminated art exhibit by Tova Speter. This giant interactive light display invites people of all ages to explore, connect, and make the artwork glow at the Bank of America parking lot.

Santa meet-and-greet at Dwight Derby House.

Joy To The World musical performance at Baxter Park.

The Treblemakers (Montrose’s a cappella group) perform on the front steps of the Medfield Library.

Road Closures and Parking Locations

A new addition to the Holiday Stroll this year is the temporary closure of streets in Downtown Medfield. This change is designed to improve accessibility, create safer pedestrian flow, and allow attendees to move more comfortably between locations.

As Medfield becomes a pedestrian paradise, please note the following road closures and adjust your travel and parking accordingly:

  • Main Street: South Street → Route 27
  • North Street: Main Street → Frairy Street

Parking is available at the following locations:

  • Behind Middlesex Bank
  • Along Meetinghouse Pond, Post Office Parking Lot (after 5 pm)
  • The Medfield Public Library Parking Lot
  • Bank of America Parking Lot (after 4 pm)
  • Roberts Mitchell Caruso Funeral Home Parking Lot (located on Miller Street)
  • Miller Street
  • Pleasant Street
  • North Meadows Road: Business Parking Lots (after 5 pm)
