Summer Sounds is Bellforge’s signature summer music series, taking place on select evenings throughout the season.

August’s edition of the series brings the spirit of Boston’s DIY music scene from the basements of Allston to the green spaces of Bellforge.

Summer Sounds: Off Campus will feature Key Found, Maintenance, and Lazarus

Three emerging bands. One last show before the fall semester begins.

Indie-rock bands Key Found, Maintenance, and Lazarus are part of the next class of Massachusetts bands carrying the state’s independent music scene forward. Their paths run through Emerson College, Berklee College of Music, and DIY spaces across the Commonwealth, but they come together for one night on the Bellforge lawn.

Some music is meant to be experienced live. This is it. Will Guthro, drummer of Key Found, put it best: “Don’t listen on Spotify. Come to a show.”

Key Found
Berklee College of Music-based indie rock band Key Found has quickly become a fixture of Boston’s music scene, known for energetic live performances and a commitment to supporting fellow local artists.

Maintenance
Maintenance is a young Massachusetts folk-rock band building a following through DIY performances across the state. Guitarist Ryan Tierney is a Medfield High School graduate and longtime Bellforge supporter.

Lazarus
Headlining the evening is Lazarus, an Emerson College-based indie rock band whose gritty sound has earned attention throughout Boston, including a recent performance at Mojo Fest at City Hall Plaza.
