Presented by the Gazebo Players of Medfield, The Taming of the Shrew returns for the company’s 24th annual Summer Shakespeare in the Park tour. Directed by Steve Small, this fresh staging reimagines Shakespeare’s classic comedy as a modern-day reality TV dating show, where the play’s more complicated moments become part of the contestants’ pursuit of ratings and spectacle. While the setting has been updated, Shakespeare’s original language remains fully intact.

Starring Krishan Oberoi as Petruchio and Kelly McGowan as Katherine, the production brings sharp wit, playful energy, and open-air theater to the Bellforge grounds for two evenings. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and experience live Shakespeare under the summer sky.
