9th Annual Holiday Stroll

December 1, 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Experience the spirit of the season at this festive family event featuring 30+ artists at three indoor sites, food trucks, carolers, MEMO’s outdoor tree lighting ceremony, and much more!

All events are located on Medfield’s Main Street (within walking distance), with FREE admission and parking available.

Schedule of Activities

Please note: The Holiday Stroll takes place in Downtown Medfield in and around Main Street. 

4:00 PM Berkshire Hathaway offers their annual Hot Chocolate Bar.

4:00 PMRE/MAX Distinct Advantage hosts a whimsical reindeer food making station (while supplies last). “Imagine ingredients that look just like what reindeer might munch on, but are actually delicious treats for us humans to enjoy!”

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM First Baptist Church invites kids ages 3 and above to make crafts for holiday gift giving alongside snacks and cocoa. 

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM – Enjoy FREE s’mores over a fire pit (while supplies last) on the front lawn of the Medfield Town Hall provided by the Recreation Department.

4:00 PM – 6:30 PM – Children’s Crafts, enjoy craft projects and holiday cheer in the Children’s Room at the library.

4:00 PM – 7:00 PM Medfield Together hosts an evening of kids’ crafts representing diverse cultural celebrations at Park Street Books. “Please join us in celebrating & learning about Diwali, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice, & Lunar New Year.” 

4:00 PM – 8:00 PM – Savor complimentary decorated cookies and a FREE Scout Shopper Tote with any $50+ purchase at Be Charmed

4:00 PM – 8:00 PMFirst Parish UU Church screening FREE outdoor holiday movie classics. Delight in holiday treats and an outdoor tent activity for writing and mailing letters to Santa.

4:00 PM – 8:00 PM PAWSitive Pantry will pop-up in Park Street Books with giveaways and pet supplies for sale. Handmade cat toys, homemade dog biscuits, stuffed animals, pet supplies (price range: $1 -$15) will be available. 

4:00 PM – 8:00 PM – Medfield TV brings the green screen to the Medfield Public Library where holiday strollers can immerse themselves in a winter wonderland scene. “Our team will be there sharing information about our 2024 internships, volunteer opportunities, classes and Youth Media Program. We’ll also be holding a FREE raffle!” 

4:00 PM – 8:00 PMMedfield AfterSchool Program (MAP) at the Medfield Public Library

“Join us for peel and stick crafts for kids, and the 4-6 program will be selling their handmade earrings and crafts made from recycled materials.

4:00 PM – 8:00 PM –  Holistic Wellness Center is offering a jewelry trunk show, mini chair massage and reflexology sessions, as well as a raffle for a large Citrine crystal.

4:00 PM – 9:00 PMBuy local and handmade for the holidays from artisans located in Zullo Gallery, the Library and the United Church of Christ.

4:00 PM – 9:00 PM – Nantucket Weaving at Needham Bank will be blending traditional and modern style to bring unique Nantucket basket-inspired jewelry and accessories to the Stroll.

4:00 PM – 9:00 PM – Shop at TTG’s Aesthetic Intent to discover unique, one-of-a-kind holiday gifts. “Beautifully handcrafted jewelry, wooden bowls and boards, pottery, resin flowers, and toys are all handmade. Support our local artists and small businesses by shopping locally to find special gifts for family and friends. While you shop, your children can write a letter to Santa, and the North Pole elves will make sure it is delivered.”

4:30 PM – 5:15 PMSnowflake Storytime. Join ukulele artist Julie Stepanek for a fun, winter storytime! Julie’s performance is bound to impress kids and grown-ups alike, enjoy a family-friendly performance in the Lower Level Meeting Room at the library.

4:30 PM – 6:00 PM – Follow Trills ‘n Chills a cappella performances around town. Experience 15 minute bursts of holiday carols and seasonal favorites sung by the amazing youth vocalists led by instructor Eva Kendrick.

4:30 PM – 6:30 PM – Carolers perform in front of RE/MAX Distinct Advantage.

5:00 PM – 7:00 PM – Dwight-Derby House will host a meet-and-greet with Santa Clause. Guided tours of the first floor will also be available to groups of five or more, and the Christmas gift shop will be open as well. “We ask that everyone enter through the Derby Hall entrance on the side of the building.” 

5:00 PM – 8:00 PM – Enjoy live music at the Sanctuary at UCC from singer songwriters Jill McCracken, Joanne The Band, and Mori, plus a very special performance from The Dover Foundation.

5:30 PM – 6:15 PM – Jazz-a-gals (a Medfield-based women’s a cappella group) perform in front of Park St. Books.

6:30 PM – MEMO’s outdoor tree lighting ceremony at Baxter Park.
